Our selection
Curation
In the context of fashion and clothing shops — particularly pre-owned and vintage fashion — a curation service is the process of selecting, filtering and assessing the condition of each piece.
A fashion curator acts as a quality filter for the customer, offering a selection in which every piece meets our quality standards and is ready to wear.
What does our Curation Service involve?
Rigorous selection — the expert eye
- Assessing each piece's condition, checking for stains, pulled threads, missing buttons or pilling.
- Distinguishing and identifying fabric quality, such as natural fibres: cotton, wool, linen and silk.
- Recognising brands valued in the market, such as Pepe Jeans, Salsa, Quebramar and Massimo Dutti.
Trends and style
- Choosing clothes that reflect current trends — such as 1980s and 1990s aesthetics or Y2K — as well as timeless classics such as tailored blazers and trench coats.
- Some days call for comfort, others demand elegance. Making sure we have a little of every style, for every occasion.
Cleaning and preparation
- Washing, ironing and, when necessary, making small repairs — such as sewing on a button or fixing a hem — when justified by the value of the piece.
- For genuine leather items, we may use specialist technicians for cleaning and minor repairs.
- Presenting every piece with the same care and appearance expected from a new-clothing shop.
